FIT - Fundamentals of Instructor Training
This is a mandatory American Red Cross course for American Red Cross instructors, including water safety, CPR and lifeguarding. FIT introduces instructor candidates to the history, policies, procedures and business model of the American Red Cross.

CPR Instructor
Trains instructor candidates to teach Red Cross certified Basic First Aid, CPR and AED. Participants learn how to teach in a manner that helps participants stay engaged in the learning process so they can successfully learn how to perform basic first aid, CPR and AED usage.

Water Safety Instructor
Trains instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross swimming and water safety courses. Prerequisites: Must pass a swim test and demonstrate proficient swim strokes (Free, Breast, Back, Side & Fly) and must have current FIT certification (see above course).
